John LaLonde, D.O.

Dr. LaLondeDr. LaLonde is a native Californian.  He attended California State University at Long Beach for his undergraduate education.  He later received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona.  In 2001, Dr. LaLonde completed his Family Medicine training at Downey Regional Medical Center.  He has been in private practice in Southern California since 2003.  He founded Newport Medical and Wellness Center in 2007, which combines the practice of medicine with physical therapy and wellness programs to promote maximum health.   Dr. LaLonde emphasizes in preventive medicine and has special interests in clinical research, office medical procedures, and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. LaLonde is an active staff member at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach.  He is also affiliated with Western Medical Center in Santa Ana and Chapman Medical Center in Orange. 

Dr. LaLonde is a proud father of two sons and enjoys spending quality time and traveling with his family. 

José Mayorga, M.D.

Dr. MayorgaAs a family medicine physician, Dr. Mayorga is proud to provide high-quality, personalized health care for children, adults, and seniors.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine.  While completing his family medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Dr. Mayorga served as the Chief Resident and Residency Clinic Director for the hospital's Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Mayorga is a member of the Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association as well as an alumni of the Latino Medical Student Association.

Throughout the years, he has maintained a special interest in adolescent medicine.  He is fluent in Spanish and active in his community - serving as a physician mentor to high school, pre-medical, and medical students interested in the health care field.

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Mayorga enjoys traveling to Tropical locations and cheering for the Lakers!

Scott S. Ferer, M.D.

Dr. FererDr. Ferer was born and raised in Southern California. His undergraduate education was completed at U.C Santa Barbara, and he received his medical degree from the University of Kansas. Dr. Ferer did his medical internship and neurology residency at U.C. Irvine Medical Center, and then went on to complete a fellowship in electromyography (EMG) at Louisiana State University. He has maintained a private general neurology practice in Orange County since 1999, and is an expert in memory disorders, dementia and cognitive health. He has presented to and educated physicians and other healthcare personnel, as well as the lay public, on the topics of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Ferer is also experienced in the treatment of migraine headaches and the use of Botox both cosmetically and to treat migraine. Dr. Ferer takes pleasure in the family time with his wife, son and daughter.

Rachna LaLonde, MPT

Rashna LaLonde Rachna LaLonde, MPT received her bachelor of science degree in psychology from San Diego State University in 1991.  She continued to Western University in Pomona for her masters in physical therapy.  During her training, she had clinical affiliations at Mission Hospital and Northridge Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as focused training in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.  After completing her masters in 1996, Rachna worked as a member of the inpatient physical therapy team at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim, and Anaheim Memorial Hospital.

In 1999, Rachna started her private physical therapy practice in Costa Mesa, California.  She founded Wellness by Design, which specializes in physical therapy and personal training.  She believes that, in addition to treating acute medical injuries, it is important to help a patient maintain wellness and lead a healthy lifestyle after completing treatment.  Rachna uses this philosophy to design personalized physical therapy programs for her patients.  Patients appreciate her genuine caring, her energizing personality, and the quality physical therapy they receive.  Rachna works closely with her personal trainers and physical therapists to ensure the highest standard of care. 

Sherese Scotto di Vettimo, Physician Assistant

ShereseSherese Scotto di Vettimo is a board-certified primary care Physician Assistant who specializes in general wellness, nutrition, aesthetic medicine and women's health. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh as an English Literature major before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. In 2003, She earned her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She has practiced in a variety of settings from the aesthetic suite to the emergency room. She has developed strong analytical skills, and is capable of assessing, diagnosing and treating conditions appropriately and efficiently while developing a rapport with patients, family, staff and physicians.

She loves to travel, is currently taking Italian classes and enjoys reading literature from around the world.
